On Wednesday, 20th October we hosted our event “Investing in Place: An Asset Owner Discussion.”
Featuring a wide range of pension fund asset owners and place-based impact investing Forum members, the event explored the opportunities presented by place-based impact investing.
The Impact Investing Institute provided an introduction to the key issues, challenges and opportunities involved in Place Based Impact Investing. This was followed by a fireside chat hosted by Karen Shackleton, Founder of Pensions for Purpose, with Debbie Fielder, Clwyd Pension Fund, on their experiences of investing in place.
This event formed one of three stakeholder discussions following on from the launch of the Place-Based Impact Investing White Paper by The Good Economy, the Impact Investing Institute and Pensions for Purpose.
