How can more private capital be mobilised in places and communities around the UK?
The Left Behind Neighbourhoods All-Party Parliamentary Group has called for evidence into the Levelling Up White Paper.
Given the scale of the challenge and the UK’s constrained public finances, we recommend that further steps are taken to clarify fiduciary duty, support local authorities and utilise blended finance so that more private investors feel empowered to deploy capital across the country.
