Jack joined the Institute as Fundraising Manager in October 2024. Jack is responsible for driving the financial sustainability of the organisation by securing funding from diverse sources, including government, philanthropic, and corporate partners.
Jack is a project management professional with experience in fundraising, bid writing, and grant coordination, particularly in the environmental and international development sectors. He has helped secure significant grants, including an £11 million award from the UK Government’s FCDO for a Water Security project. Jack has worked with organisations such as CDP, where he supported environmental projects, and the Institute of Development Studies, where he helped academics secure funding for research across various thematic areas. With a background in marketing and a master’s degree in agriculture and international development, Jack is passionate about supporting initiatives that drive sustainability and positive social impact.
Outside of work Jack is a keen hiker, Dungeons and Dragons player, and stumbling his way through early parenthood.
