Katherine is a Partner at Systemiq – a climate-focused investment and advisory firm focused on transforming economic systems to help deliver the Sustainable Development Goals for people and planet. 

As Head of Systemiq’s Sustainable Finance Platform, Katherine helped pioneer a bold collaboration between Systemiq and Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) to launch holisticQ Investment Partners – a new platform within LOIM solely dedicated to sustainable investing which combines Lombard Odier’s asset management heritage, commitment to sustainability and investment track record, with Systemiq’s deep analytical understanding and expertise in economic system transformation. 

Katherine is also on the Steering Committee of the G7’s Impact Investing Taskforce, is part of the Expert Advisory Group for the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, was recently appointed to the OECD’s Senior Expert Group on Adaptation and has recently joined the board of Savo Project Developers and Studio 8Fold, a sustainable design and architecture organisation.  

Katherine is on the Advisory Board of the Responsible Consumer Fund and the Chair of the Blended Finance Taskforce, a global coalition set up to help mobilise public and private capital for net-zero, nature-positive and more inclusive economies. She is a trusted partner of governments and investors to design and access fit-for-purpose climate finance and develop cross-sectoral investment plans for growth and prosperity. 

Katerine was awarded Environmental Finance’s Net Zero Champion of the Year in 2022 for her work on accelerating South Africa’s $8.5 billion Just Energy Transition Partnership. 

Before joining Systemiq, Katherine was a lawyer in Australia and the UK specialising in M&A and project finance for energy assets and other major infrastructure.
